About Laura Vandervoort
Canadian actress Laura Vandervoort was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on September 22, 1984. She started acting at age 12, making her professional debut in 1997, and has been working in the industry for nearly three decades.
She is best known for her roles as Sadie Harrison on the CTV teen drama Instant Star, Arla "The Bolt-Gun Killer" Cogan on the Syfy series Haven, Kara Zor-El (Supergirl) on Smallville, and Lisa on the 2009 ABC sci-fi series V. In 2014, she starred as Elena Michaels in Bitten, the Space channel adaptation of Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld books. She has blue eyes and blonde hair, stands 5'6", and is naturally slim with real measurements. She has several tattoos, including small wings on her lower back, the word "Overcome" on her right foot, and a paw print and symbol on her left foot, plus a navel piercing.
