About Lara Stone
Lara Stone is a Dutch actress and supermodel, born on Friday, 23rd of December 1983, in Geldrop, Netherlands. She was discovered at age 14 in the Paris Metro and entered the Elite Model Look competition in 1999. Though she didn't win, Elite executives signed her, and she began modeling. Stone's career took off in 2006 when she signed with IMG Models and made her catwalk debut for Givenchy, later becoming an exclusive for Calvin Klein. She has opened and closed shows for top designers, appeared in major campaigns, and graced numerous magazine covers. In 2010, she made fashion history by signing an exclusive deal with Calvin Klein Inc. for three of its brands. She was named the #1 model on models.com's Top 50 list and appeared on Forbes' top-earning models list. Stone has also acted, though her modeling remains her primary career.
