Lara Fabian

Lara Fabian, born Lara Sophie Katy Crokaert on 9 January 1970, is a Belgian-Canadian soprano who has sold over 20 million records worldwide. She is one of the best-selling Belgian artists of all time. Her vocal range spans three octaves, from C3 to G5 in live performances.

Raised in the Belgian town of Ruisbroek, she is the only child of a Flemish father and a Sicilian mother. Her parents enrolled her in the Royal Conservatory of Brussels at age eight, where she studied for ten years. She spent part of her childhood in Catania, Sicily, and speaks Italian as her first language. Fabian is multilingual, speaking Italian, French, Spanish, Sicilian, English, and some Flemish, and has sung in ten additional languages.

Fabian moved to Quebec in 1991 and has held Canadian citizenship since 1995, alongside her Belgian nationality. She returned to Brussels in 2003 and later lived in Walloon Brabant, then moved back to Montreal permanently in 2017. She has been in relationships with Rick Allison, with whom she wrote her greatest hits for 14 years, and with Gérard Pullicino, with whom she has a daughter born in 2007. She married Sicilian magician Gabriel Di Giorgio in 2013. She is 5'4" with a slim build and natural 36C breasts.
