Lace Rose Allenius became a Playboy Model after being featured as Coed of the Week for December 2004, Week 2. Born on Friday, January 3, 1986, in Tallahassee, Florida, she is American. She was 18 years old at the time of her Playboy debut, a detail that underscores her early start in the industry. With blonde hair, brown eyes, and a natural 32–23–33 figure, she measured 5'5" and weighed 106 lbs. Her zodiac sign is Capricorn.

Beyond her Playboy work, Lace gained attention as part of the 2004 Girls of the ACC pictorial, a debut that reportedly sparked celebrations at Florida State University, where she was a student. She became a campus favorite and eventually earned the title of Coed of the Week. Her association with FSU's "Tennessee Waltz" tradition, where new 21-year-olds dress up and take over bars along the Tennessee strip, became practically synonymous with her after her pictorial. The attention from campus parties followed her, but she also pursued other ambitions.

After her Playboy success, Lace interned at Good Morning America. Her coworkers there discovered her Playboy photos, and the show famously issued a memo reminding staff that nudity was not permitted on company computers. Off-camera, she was romantically linked to actor Matt Dillon for two years. Lace remains one of the most memorable coeds from that era, known for her personality and ambition.
