Kimi Onoda

Kimi Onoda is a politician in Japan's Liberal Democratic Party. She has served as Minister of State for Economic Security, Science and Technology Policy, Space Policy, and Intellectual Property Strategy since 2025. She is the youngest minister in Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's cabinet. Onoda represents Okayama in the House of Councillors.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1982, she holds both Japanese and American nationality. Of mixed-race, primarily Asian descent, she stands 5'7" with a slim build, brown hair, and brown eyes.
