About Kennedy Cummins
Kennedy Cummins is an American professional wrestler and former collegiate cheerleader who performs under the ring name Carlee Bright on WWE's NXT brand. She was born and raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin, before moving to Minneapolis, where she attended the University of Minnesota and cheered for the Golden Gophers. That background helped shape her athletic style, and at 5'4" with an athletic build, she brings a grounded, physical approach to the ring.
Her wrestling career began in late 2022 when she signed with WWE as part of the Performance Center Fall 2022 Rookie Class. She made her in-ring debut on September 29, 2023, teaming with Fallon Henley in a losing effort against Lola Vice and Elektra Lopez. On January 19, 2024, she debuted under the name Carlee Bright on NXT Level Up, losing to Jacy Jayne. Over the following months, she teamed with Kendal Grey on Level Up, mostly in defeat.
In early 2024, she participated in the combine to qualify for the inaugural NXT Women's North American Championship ladder match, but she placed 13th and just missed the top 12. She then tried to prove herself in several singles matches, challenging Lola Vice, Fallon Henley, Wendy Choo, and Wren Sinclair, though each ended in a loss. Still, she has remained active, working to carve out a spot in the NXT women's division.
