From the era when Hungarian cinema was still finding its voice, a slender blonde with brown eyes emerged. Kathe Von Nagy, a tall, elegant presence, began her film career in 1929. She worked steadily for over two decades, becoming a familiar face in European cinema. Her natural figure and slim silhouette set her apart in an age of manufactured glamour.

Born on the 4th of April 1904 in Szabadka, then part of the Kingdom of Hungary, she was identified as Serbian in nationality. Her career stretched from 1929 to 1952, a span of 23 years that saw the transition from silent films to talkies. She passed away on the 20th of December 1973, at the age of 69, leaving behind a body of work that reflected her versatility.
