Blonde-haired and average in build, Katharine Blake is a British musician from London. She is a classically trained alto, best known as the lead vocalist of Miranda Sex Garden, a band that began as a madrigal trio before evolving into a goth dream pop outfit. Her work blends old vocal traditions with modern, percussive sounds.
Beyond that project, she co-founded and directs Mediæval Bæbes, a group that performs in multiple languages including Latin and Middle English. She arranges and writes music for them. Katharine was married to Nick Marsh of Flesh for Lulu until his death in 2015, and they had two daughters together.
