Karen McDougal

Her career took off after winning a swimwear competition, leading to work as a glamour, promotional, and swimsuit model. She became a Playboy Playmate of the Month in December 1997 and was named Playmate of the Year in 1998. In 2001, Playboy readers voted her runner-up for "The sexiest Playmate of the 1990s." Beyond Playboy, she has posed for six covers and six photosets, appeared as the first female cover figure on Men's Fitness magazine, and acted in the 2001 direct-to-video film The Arena. She also inspired a fantasy art statuette and a doll. In 2007, she appeared topless in a pictorial and interview in Spanish magazine Interviu, discussing her then relationship with actor Bruce Willis.

She is a fitness enthusiast, having studied ballet in her youth and engaged in high school sports. She is also an avid motorcycle and car collector. Despite her swimsuit modeling, she is not a proficient swimmer due to aquaphobia, a fear of water. Her family has a history of breast cancer, and she advocates for breast cancer awareness. She had breast implants removed in January 2017 after her health worsened. An alleged affair with Donald Trump from 2006 to 2007 brought her national headlines around the 2016 election. She remains active as a model and businesswoman, with a significant social media following.
