Kaitlin Olson

Kaitlin Olson has spent over two decades making audiences laugh, most famously as Deandra "Sweet Dee" Reynolds on the long-running FX comedy It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Her career began at the Groundlings, an improvisational theatre in Los Angeles, where she honed the sharp comedic instincts that would define her later work. Before landing her signature role in 2005, she took minor parts in several television series.

Olson's talent has earned her critical recognition beyond Sunny. She starred in the Fox comedy The Mick (2017-2018) and later appeared in the Quibi series Flipped, which brought her a Primetime Emmy nomination. She has also earned repeat Emmy nods for her guest role as DJ Vance on HBO's Hacks. Her filmography includes Leap Year, The Heat, Vacation, Finding Dory, and Arizona. A natural blonde with blue eyes, she stands 5'8" and maintains a slim build.

Off screen, Olson is married to her It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia co-star Rob McElhenney, whom she wed in Malibu in 2008. The couple began dating secretly during the show's second season. She is of Danish, Greek, and Norwegian descent. Olson continues to work steadily in comedy, though she guards her private life closely.
