About Kae Kae Lee
Kae Kae Lee is a Canadian actress and ballet dancer with an athletic build, black hair, and brown eyes. She is based in Toronto, where she works as a dancer, acrobat, and teacher. Her journey began at age 7, when she discovered her passion for dance and soon joined Performing Dance Arts in Vaughan, training extensively in Jazz, Musical Theatre, Ballet, Acrobatics, Contemporary, Tap, and Hip Hop. She credits the school for her strong technique, versatility, athleticism, and performance skills.
During her competitive years, Kae Kae won many national titles and earned notable recognitions, including the Publishers Award at The York Region Celebration of Arts and a Top 10 finish in the "Senior Best Dancer" category at the 2015 and 2016 Dance Awards. Her talents took her around the world early on, with roles in Royal Caribbean's Aqua production "The Fine Line," Emmy award-winning Debra Brown's "Brace Yourself," and Family Channel's "Big Ticket Summer Tour." She has also worked with artists such as Emeli Sande, Aloe Blacc, and James Blunt while touring with "Art on Ice" Switzerland, a show choreographed by Sean Cheesman.
On screen, Kae Kae has appeared in Disney's "Zombies 3" and "Spin," Fox's "What We Do In The Shadows," Lifetime's "A Christmas Dance," CBC's "Frankie Drake Mysteries," and Family Channel's "The Next Step," along with music videos for artists including The Queen Priyanka, Liz Lokre, and Jade Eagleson. Now, after diverse experience in dance, acrobatics, TV, and film, she is set to make her Musical Theatre debut in Rock of Ages as Dance Captain.
