Julie Woodson was born on July 11, 1950, in Hutchinson, Kansas. She was an American nude model and a former Playboy Playmate. In April 1973, she was named Playboy's Playmate of the Month, making history as only the third African-American to hold that title. Her centerfold was photographed by William Figge and Mel Figge. She also appeared on the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine in May 1977, a distinction she shares with Pamela Anderson. Julie Woodson passed away on January 21, 2022, at the age of 71. Her legacy as a pioneering model remains.
