About Joanne Latham
Joanne Latham has a slim, natural look, with honey blonde hair, brown eyes, and a figure that once turned heads in the glamour world. She was born on Tuesday, 21st March 1961, in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England, and began modelling at 16. Before that, she studied classical ballet for ten years on a scholarship to the Royal Ballet School. A dancing competition led her to model for retailer Miss Selfridge, which opened the door to further modelling and television work.
Her career took off quickly. She appeared topless in the Daily Mirror from May 1978 and had sixteen Page 3 appearances in The Sun between April 1978 and June 1981. In 1979, she signed a £70,000 contract with Penthouse and was the September 1979 Pet of the Month. She also featured in photographer Patrick Lichfield's book The Most Beautiful Women, on the inside front cover. Her work spanned magazines, commercials, and television, including a documentary about her life called "A Model's Dream" for the ATV/Central series England their England. She also appeared on a TV show with Tony Curtis and Frankie Valli.
Joanne quit modelling in 1982 after a crash diet reduced her bust size from 32E to 32B. She later had a daughter, Blue, with Francois Trigano, and they lived in Paris for a time before returning to Wolverhampton. In later years, she turned to wellness: in 1999 she taught yoga at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre in Nassau, Bahamas, and she has since promoted a spirituality clinic and reflexology. She now teaches yoga, writes her autobiography, and works on a thirteen-part TV series. She also plans to move to California with Blue. She is British and straight, and her measurements are 40-23-36.
