Jisel

Before adulthood, she lived in New York and Canada, traveling globally as a model and dancer. After her adult film years, she transitioned to mainstream acting. From 1993 to 1996 she studied acting with DW Brown at the Baron Brown Studio in Los Angeles, then continued with Margie Haber at the Margie Haber Studio for several years. Her film debut came in 1993 in the blockbuster Demolition Man, starring Sylvester Stallone, and she followed that with a role on Married with Children (1997), which led to the lead in Aaron Spelling's Pier 66 (1996). She became a series regular on several shows and guest-starred on Modern Family (2009) and in movies like Rat Race (2001) and the HBO series Zebra Lounge (2001). She gained a devoted sci-fi following for her role as Doyle in Andromeda (2000), which she has called her favorite character. In 2006 she was cast in the acclaimed show Whistler, earning nominations for both the Leo Award and the Gemini Award.

Jisel has been married twice: first to snowboarder Damian Sanders, and later to actor Martin Cummins, with whom she has a child. She has also been credited as Brandy Sanders or Brandy Ledford during her career. Clean and sober since 2012, she speaks openly about her past addiction and recovery. She serves on several boards, including the Red Songbird Foundation, and is involved in fundraising events. She splits her time between Los Angeles, Vancouver, and Kauai, enjoying life as a mom and wife, and focusing on fitness, health, and helping others.
