Biography

About Jill Kelly

Edited by the community

Blonde, hazel-eyed, and athletic, Jill Kelly was one of the most recognizable faces in adult entertainment during the 1990s and early 2000s. Standing 5'7" with an average build and measurements of 37-24-36, she combined a girl-next-door look with a fearless on-screen presence. Born Adriane Diane Moore in Pomona, California, she grew up in a working-class Italian and Irish family and attended Catholic school before a rebellious streak led her to get a fake ID and start stripping at a fully nude club at age 15. After being reported and fired, she returned at 18 and continued dancing for five years before entering the adult industry in 1993.

Kelly quickly became a popular performer, appearing in over 500 films and working with major studios like Vivid Entertainment, Wicked Pictures, VCA, and Evil Angel. Her performances spanned a wide range of categories, including solo work, girl-girl scenes, and boy-girl scenes with anal and double penetration. She also collaborated with stars like Jenna Jameson, Tera Patrick, and Rocco Siffredi. Her work earned her numerous awards, including AVN Awards for Best All-Girl Sex Scene in 1996 and 1997, an XRCO Award for Female Performer of the Year in 1997, and a Hot d'Or for Best American Actress in 1999. She was inducted into the AVN, XRCO, and NightMoves Halls of Fame.

Beyond performing, Kelly became a producer and director. In 1998, she co-founded Jill Kelly Productions, a studio that produced more than 100 titles. She directed films like Jill Kelly's Girls and Pure Ecstasy. However, the company filed for bankruptcy in 2007, and Penthouse acquired its assets, including the back catalogue and unreleased features. Kelly retired from performing in 2006 and has since lived a largely private life in Southern California. Her legacy as a performer and entrepreneur remains celebrated, with fans remembering her for her versatility and striking look.

Kelly's personal life included marriages to Cal Jammer, Julian Andretti, Corey Jordan, and Tony Tedeschi. She also had a close relationship with fellow performer PJ Sparxx, with whom she toured as a dance duo called "Fire & Ice" and released a feature film of the same name. Kelly described their bond as more of a "stripper marriage" and noted they were "best friends who also fucked each other." She got breast implants during 2001, having started her career with natural B cups. She has tattoos including lips on her right buttock and a clitoris piercing.
