Jessi is a rapper and singer born in New York, raised in New Jersey, and now an American and South Korean artist active in the K-pop scene. She moved to South Korea at 15, and in 2005, at 16, she made her debut. After a pause in music, she returned in 2014 with a hip-hop trio and as a soloist under YMC Entertainment.
