While dancing, she met feature dancers who had already worked in porn and learned about the business. At 21, she and her husband moved to Los Angeles to break into the adult film industry. On her first visit to Jim South's office, she had barely finished filling out the info sheet and presented her STD test results when South received a call about a no-show actress. Darlin took the scene, a three-way with anal sex alongside Julie Rage and Ian Daniels for a film called Sexual Initiations. She signed with Elegant Angel about two months later but left after six months due to contractual difficulties. Her contract stipulated eight scenes a month, but as their only contract star, she spent most of her time on the road promoting the company, filming only two scenes a month.

Darlin worked from 1997 to 2011, roughly 14 years in the industry. She is American and Caucasian, standing 5'3" with a slim build, blonde hair, and brown eyes.
