Jenny Maxwell

Born Jennifer Helene Maxwell on September 3, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of a Norwegian construction worker. At sixteen, while still in high school, she was discovered by director Vincente Minnelli, who brought her to Hollywood for a screen test for 'Some Came Running.' Though she didn't get the part, she stayed. Her acting debut came in 1958 on an episode of 'Bachelor Father,' and she went on to appear on numerous TV shows, including 'The Twilight Zone,' 'Dr. Kildaire,' and 'Father Knows Best.' She claimed to be a distant cousin of Marilyn Monroe, though this might not be true.

In 1961, Jenny landed a featured role in Elvis Presley's musical 'Blue Hawaii,' and appeared in minor parts in 'Take Her, She's Mine' and 'Shotgun Wedding.' She married assistant film director Paul Rapp at seventeen, and their son Brian was born in 1960. The marriage ended in 1963, and she lost custody of Brian. By the late 1960s, her career stalled, and she quit acting after a 1968 episode of 'The Wild Wild West.' She later stopped partying and regained joint custody of her son. She married Ervin Roeder in 1970; he was twenty-one years older, and they had a tumultuous marriage that led to a 1980 divorce filing. Their deaths were initially thought to be a robbery gone wrong, but evidence suggests Ervin had taken out a mob hit on her. No one was ever arrested. She was cremated, and her ashes were given to her family.

Jenny was an American actress, Caucasian, with blonde hair, blue eyes, stood 5'3", and had a slim, petite build. Her career spanned from 1958 to 1968, roughly ten years.
