About Jenna Fischer
Jenna Fischer is an American actress, author, influencer, and podcaster, best known for playing Pam Beesly on The Office. She received an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress and two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble Comedy. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on March 7, 1974, she was raised mostly in St. Louis, Missouri, where watching her mother perform in church plays sparked her love of theater. She has been active in the industry since 1998, starting around age 24, and has over 28 years of experience.
A trained theater actress, Jenna returned to the stage after The Office wrapped. She starred in the Off-Broadway play Reasons to Be Happy, written and directed by Neil LaBute, and in the world premiere of Steve Martin's Meteor Shower, an absurdist comedy that had a record-breaking run at the Old Globe Theatre. In October 2019, she and her Office castmate and real-life best friend Angela Kinsey launched the podcast Office Ladies on Earwolf. It became wildly popular, landing in the Top Ten globally every week and receiving over 200 million downloads in its first two years. In January 2021, Office Ladies won iHeartRadio's Podcast of the Year award. She is also the author of two books: The Actor's Life: A Survival Guide and the forthcoming Office BFFs: Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends Who Were There, co-authored with Angela Kinsey.
