Jasmine Fiore

Fiore's personal life took a turbulent turn when she met real estate investor Ryan Jenkins at a Las Vegas casino, shortly after he was eliminated from the reality show 'Megan Wants a Millionaire.' Just two days later, on March 18, 2009, they married at the Little White Wedding Chapel on the Las Vegas Strip. But the marriage was marred by violence. According to court records, Jenkins was charged in June 2009 with battery constituting domestic violence after an incident involving Fiore's former fiancé. Jenkins allegedly hit Fiore's arm, causing her to fall into a swimming pool. The couple reconciled briefly before her death, but her mother later claimed that they fought frequently, and that Jenkins was jealous of her friendships with former boyfriends. Some reports suggested Fiore had annulled the marriage in May 2009, but no court records of an annulment were found.

The last days of Fiore's life were spent in San Diego. The couple checked into the L'Auberge hotel in Del Mar on the evening of August 13, 2009, to attend a poker tournament and charity event. Surveillance footage captured them leaving a Hilton at 2:30 a.m. on August 14, and they were later seen at a nightclub. Jenkins returned to the hotel alone around 4:30 a.m. Fiore was never seen alive again. Her body was discovered on August 15 in a dumpster in Buena Park, California, badly beaten, strangled, and stuffed inside a suitcase. Her teeth and fingers had been removed to impede identification. Authorities identified her three days later using the serial numbers from her breast implants.

Jenkins reported Fiore missing on August 15, claiming she had dropped him off after returning from San Diego and never came back. He then fled the country, crossing into Canada, where he was found dead on August 23, apparently by suicide, in a motel in Hope, British Columbia. He had been charged with Fiore's murder two days earlier. A document titled 'Last Will and Testament' was found on his computer. Fiore's life was marked by ambition and personal turmoil, and her death remains a tragic and widely publicized case. It is a story of a young woman whose life was cut short under horrifying circumstances.
