Jacki Jing

Jacki Jing, a 6'2" volleyball player and Emmy-nominated journalist, hosts and produces at IGN, a role she calls her dream job. Raised in Centennial, Colorado, she graduated from Grandview High School before earning a full-ride NCAA Division I scholarship to play volleyball at Binghamton University. There she studied political science and English, graduated magna cum laude, and was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2014. She is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

Her journalism career has taken her across the United States, with stops in Denver, Cincinnati, Binghamton, and Springfield. She has reported live for ABC News on Robert Durst's legal troubles, covered the Saints ownership battle for ESPN, and reported on the Binghamton American Civic Association shooting for FOX News. Her coverage of the Basketball Hall of Fame Ceremony earned an AP Award in 2010, and a 2014 piece on the death of Takita Mathieu brought a Suncoast Regional Emmy nomination.

Off the clock, Jacki stays active with workouts and volleyball, writes, reads, makes music on her synthesizer, and watches anime and action films. As a content creator, she has amassed a following on Instagram and TikTok, where she engages fans with her unique mix of cosplay, sports, and media insight. Her distinctive height and wingspan have made her a frequent subject of curiosity among followers.
