J.J. North

Petite and shapely, J.J. North is a former actress and beauty queen turned wrestler. At 5'2" with blonde hair and brown eyes, she made a memorable mark in low-budget 1990s cinema before trading the screen for the wrestling ring. North was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on December 13, 1964, and grew up in New Jersey. She attended Montclair State College on a scholarship, earning a degree in Hotel Management and Tourism. Her path to acting began when she won the Miss English Leather beauty contest, which led to modeling and eventually movie roles.

North made her film debut in Beauty School, but she is best known for her performances in exploitation favorites like Attack of the 60 Foot Centerfold, Vampire Vixens from Venus, and Psycho Sisters. She displayed comedic talent as the virtual reality hooker Heidi Ho in Vice Academy 5 and played Big Rhonda in the horror anthology Hellblock 13. Her roles in these straight-to-video features showcased her ability to blend humor and spirit, making her a standout in the genre.

In the late 1990s, North left acting to pursue a career in wrestling, joining Roman Gladiator Wrestling. She participated in numerous matches from 1998 to 2006, bringing the same energy she had on screen. Her transition from film to wrestling highlights her versatility and adventurous spirit.
