About Ivana Vuleta
Ivana Vuleta, born Ivana Španović, is a Serbian long jumper who has dominated the sport for over two decades. She is the reigning World indoor champion and a three-time European indoor champion, with a career stretching back to 2005 when she started at just 15. In 2013, she made history as the first Serbian track and field athlete to win a medal at the IAAF Outdoor World Championships, a feat she repeated indoors in 2018 by taking the world senior gold. She holds the Serbian records in the long jump, both indoors and outdoors, as well as the national indoor records in the 60 metres and pentathlon. Trained by Goran Obradović, she represents the Athletic Club Vojvodina in Novi Sad. Standing 5'9" with an athletic build, she is 36 years old and hails from Zrenjanin, Serbia.
