Ivana Smit

Between the ages of 16 and 18, Ivana moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where she dated a German boyfriend named Lukas. She was a regular in the city's nightlife, and it was at the club Mantra that she met Alex and Luna Johnson, a couple known among friends for their open relationship, including threesomes. Ivana was reportedly fascinated by Luna, and on the night of their meeting, she was very affectionate toward her. However, court proceedings later revealed that the dates of these encounters, as provided by a friend, were inaccurate, suggesting Ivana may not have been in the city at the times claimed.

On December 6, 2017, Ivana went out with the Johnsons after a disagreement with Lukas, who declined to join due to work. Security footage shows Alex carrying Ivana to the elevator as they left the club. The next afternoon, her body was found at the bottom of their apartment building, naked, bruised, and having fallen from the 20th floor to the 6th. Her shoes and underwear were never recovered. The Malaysian police initially ruled her death a suicide, but later reopened the case as a homicide. The Johnsons denied any involvement, claiming Ivana had been drinking and doing drugs, and that they had consensual sex. Neighbors reported hearing screaming from the apartment, and the Johnsons instructed their housekeeper to clean the apartment thoroughly after police interviews. Ivana's blood contained drugs and alcohol, and bruises inconsistent with the fall were found. The case remains unresolved, with many questions about whether she was alive when she fell and what truly happened that night.
