Biography
About Isis Nile
Isis Nile grew up in Sherman Oaks, CA, in the San Fernando Valley and attended a Roman Catholic school. She took her name from her Egyptian ancestry. Before entering the adult industry, she worked as a makeup artist and part-time model. Her career began in July 1993 with Ed Powers' More Dirty Debutantes 28, and her exotic looks quickly made her popular. She performed in over 200 hardcore features, with more than 80 movies in 1994 alone. In 1995, at the height of her fame, she abruptly retired, citing burnout. Though she planned to return after a break, she never did. Instead, she found work as a catalog model and featured exotic dancer across the country.
Isis Nile is of mixed-race heritage, primarily Middle Eastern, and identifies as bisexual. She once said she enjoyed her lesbian scenes far more than her boy/girl scenes because she was never with women in her private life, so porn was her only chance to explore that side of her sexuality. Her career spanned from 1993 to 2002, though her most active years were in the mid-1990s. She was voted the 19th most beautiful woman to ever do porn by Freeones.com, and ranked 9th on the top pornstars of the 1990s, as well as 3rd greatest pornstar of Middle Eastern descent.
At 56, Isis Nile now looks back on a career that made her a distinctive figure of her era. She stands 5'7" with an average body type, black hair, and brown eyes. Her measurements are 32–22–35, with a 32C bra cup size and enhanced breasts. She performed solo, girl-girl, and boy-girl scenes, including double penetration and interracial. Her work remains notable for its volume and the suddenness of her exit.
