Io Shirai

In 2018, Io signed with WWE, debuting in the Mae Young Classic before moving to NXT, where she captured the NXT Women's Championship and NXT Women's Tag Team Championship with Zoey Stark. On the main roster, she performs as Iyo Sky, a member of Damage CTRL and a former Women's Money in the Bank contract holder. She has won the WWE Women's Championship and the Women's World Championship, making her the tenth WWE Women's Triple Crown Champion and the seventh WWE Women's Grand Slam Champion. Notably, she became the first Japanese wrestler, male or female, to achieve Grand Slam status in both Japan and the United States. As of 2025, she is also a two-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champion with Dakota Kai.

Outside the ring, Io is known for her athletic build, standing 5'1" and weighing 121 lbs, with an athletic body type. She is an influencer with a significant social media following. Her piercing is both ears, and she has no tattoos. Though details about her personal life are sparse, she was previously in a relationship with fellow wrestler Kazushige Nosawa, and the two lived together in Koto, Tokyo. Io continues to be regarded as one of the best women's wrestlers in the world, a reputation built on years of exceptional in-ring work and a pioneering path across promotions.
