Inger Stevens was a Swedish-American actress who made her mark on film, stage, and television during a career that lasted from 1954 to 1970. She was born in Stockholm, Sweden, on October 18, 1934, and died on April 30, 1970, at the age of 35. In 1964, TV Guide named her Best TV Star, Female. She was married twice: first to Anthony Soglio from 1955 to 1958, and then to Ike Jones from 1961 until her death.
