Ilaria Caprioglio

Ilaria Caprioglio is an Italian lawyer, model, politician, and writer, born in Varazze, Liguria, Italy, on February 4, 1969, and based in Italy. She made history as the first female mayor of Savona, serving from 2016 to 2021. Her career has spanned several fields, starting with international modeling from 1988 to 1993 in cities like Los Angeles, Paris, Munich, and Milan, and continuing with a law degree from the University of Milan in 1996, after which she became a qualified lawyer and civil mediator.

Her writing includes works like Senza limiti and Corpi senza peso, addressing social issues such as respect, inclusion, and eating disorders. She co-founded the association Mi nutro di vita and created the National Lilla Ribbon Day to raise awareness. Recently, she has focused on sustainability, public administration training, and athlete safeguarding, while also writing on ESG topics for Wall Street Italia and returning to modeling in 2022 as a silver model.
