Hillary Klug

Hillary started clogging at age eight, not knowing what a fiddler was. Homeschooled with two siblings, she discovered the violin at 13 when a friend took her to a violin class. Her mother gave her first violin with a promise that she would learn to play it. The path was difficult, filled with failures and disappointments, until she met her mentor Jim Wood, who became an inspiration in her career.

Moving to Nashville to perform in a concert, she realized she could not afford city life, not even parking. She took to the streets on Broadway, initially struggling to attract attention. She discovered that audiences loved the combination of fiddling and dancing, two things she excelled at. That realization turned her life around, making her known for fiddling, dancing, and singing on the street. Her international debut came in London in January 2019, followed by a performance with the Nashville Symphony in February. She also appeared in the movie Wild Rose, dancing and fiddling, and contributed to its soundtrack. In 2019, she completed four European tours, including solo performances, lecture workshops, and orchestra training. Her current focus is content creation, and she endorses three companies: string, fiddle, and bow companies. She is blonde with blue eyes and an athletic build.
