About Hend Sabry
With a slim build, brown hair, and brown eyes, Hend Sabry stands 5'8" tall. She is a Tunisian actress and producer, born on Tuesday 20th of November 1979 in Kebili, Tunisia. She began her acting career at age 14 in the Tunisian production "Les Silences du Palais" (Silence of Palaces) in 1994. After starring in several Tunisian productions, her breakthrough came with "Muzakirat Murahiqua" (A Teenager's Diary) in 2002, a controversial film that brought her immediate stardom across the Arab world. She soon became one of the most prominent Tunisian actresses in Egypt and the Arab world.
Sabry is also a lawyer. She received her license in law from the Faculty of Law of Tunis in 2001 and completed a master's in law with a focus on intellectual property and copyright in 2004. Her legal background has informed her career, though her primary focus remains acting and producing. In addition to her entertainment work, Sabry has been involved in social and humanitarian efforts. Since 2009, she has worked closely with the UN World Food Programme (WFP) on raising awareness about hunger in the region. In 2010, she was appointed a goodwill ambassador against hunger by the WFP. However, in November 2023, she resigned from that role, citing the organization's failure to act during the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip.
