Helle Nice was a slender, French woman with dark hair and green eyes. She was born on Saturday 15th of December 1900 in Aunay-sous-Auneau, Eure-et-Loir, France. Her career was unusually varied for the early twentieth century. Nice worked as a burlesque dancer and a model. She later became a race car driver. That put her in a male-dominated field at a time when few women competed in motorsport. She died on Monday 1st of October 1984 at the age of 83. Throughout her life, she remained a distinctive figure in French culture.
