About Helena Zetova
Helena Zet'ová stood out in Czech pop culture as a rare crossover: a musician and former adult model. Born 7 November 1980 in Valašské Meziříčí, she started singing at fifteen, touring with a rock band until 1998, then performing with an American group in Lanzarote, Spain. In October 2000, while filming for TV Nova, she met Tereza Černochová and Tereza Kerndlová. By April 2001, they formed the girl group Black Milk. Their debut album, Modrej dým, came out in June 2002, and that same year they won the Czech Nightingale for Discovery of the Year.
Black Milk released a second album, Seven Times, in 2003, but disagreements led the group to end their collaboration in spring 2005. Zet'ová went solo that October with Ready To Roll, and took home the "Jumper of the Year" title at the Czech Nightingale Awards. Her second album, Crossing Bridges, arrived in March 2008, with a plan to release it for Greek listeners that never materialized. In 2011, she voiced the character "Dream Girl" in the first Czech 3D film, V peřině. In 2020, she released Consequences, her first album as a composer, with musical contributions from Ondřej Brzobohatý and a duet with American musician Frank McComb.
Beyond music, she had a distinct physical presence: blonde hair, brown eyes, standing 5'9" with a slim build, natural 34C breasts, and tattoos on both shoulders and a leg. Straight and Czech by nationality, she was active from 1996 to 2024, a 28-year career that ended tragically. Helena Zet'ová died on 20 December 2024 in Prostřední Bečva, where she lived. She was 44.
