About Halsey
American artist Halsey was born Ashley Nicolette Frangipane on September 29, 1994, in Edison, New Jersey. She began releasing music on social media as a teenager and was signed to Astralwerks in 2014, debuting with the EP Room 93. Her first album, Badlands, came out in 2015 and was certified Double Platinum, as were its tracks "Colors" and "Gasoline." In 2016, her collaboration with The Chainsmokers, "Closer," topped charts in over ten countries and reached 14× Platinum. She followed with Hopeless Fountain Kingdom (2017), a more radio-friendly record that included the hits "Now or Never" and "Bad at Love," the latter peaking in the top five of the Billboard Hot 100. The next year she released "Eastside" with Benny Blanco and Khalid and moved to Capitol Records.
Her third album, Manic (2020), became her best-selling worldwide, and its lead single "Without Me" was her most successful as a lead artist. Her fourth, If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power (2021), was produced by Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross and moved toward a darker industrial sound. Halsey left Capitol in 2023 after a dispute over the single "So Good." According to Billboard, she has sold over one million albums and received over six billion streams in the U.S. She is noted for her distinctive singing voice.
Beyond music, Halsey is also an influencer and YouTuber, with 30.2 million Instagram followers and 12.0 million YouTube subscribers. She is bisexual and of mixed-race, primarily Caucasian ethnicity. At 5'4" with a slim build, her measurements are 35–25–35, and her bra cup size is 32B, with natural breasts. She has brown hair and hazel eyes. Her accolades include three Billboard Music Awards, a Billboard Women in Music Award, an American Music Award, a GLAAD Media Award, an MTV Video Music Award, and three Grammy nominations.
