Halla Tomasdottir

Halla Tómasdóttir is the president of Iceland, as well as a businessperson and public speaker. Born in Reykjavík on Friday the 11th of October 1968, she has built a career that spans both the private and public sectors.

In 1998, Halla was part of the founding team of Reykjavík University. She also co-founded Auður Capital, an investment firm. She later served as the chief executive of The B Team, a global non-profit group of business and civil society leaders working to promote business practices focused on humanity and the climate.
