Grit Haid

Sister of actress and singer Liane Haid, Grit Haid followed her own path in the performing arts. Born on March 14, 1900 in Vienna, Austria, she was an Austrian actress who worked from 1915 to 1938. She started her career at around 15 years old, a young talent in the early years of cinema.

She was active for 23 years, a quiet but steady presence in her field. Grit passed away on August 13, 1938 at age 38. Her work remains part of her family's legacy, but details of her own career are scarce. She was straight and of Caucasian ethnicity, but little else is known about her life beyond these facts.
