Goldie Jamison Conklin

With her black hair and blue eyes, she was a model who stood out in her time. Born in Salamanca, Cattaraugus County, New York, on October 30, 1891, she was an American of Native American heritage, though her ethnicity is listed as Other. She lived until May 1, 1973, passing away at the age of 81. Her natural figure and straight sexuality were part of her public persona. She remains a figure from an earlier era of American modeling.
