Biography
About Gloria Tang
Gloria Tang's journey is defined by a profound cultural duality. Raised in New York by a mother from Mongolia and a father from China, she grew up navigating the blend of Eastern traditions and Western upbringing. That experience became a core part of her identity, giving her a deep appreciation for her parents' languages, stories, and values, while also forging her own path as an American. It keeps her grounded in both where she comes from and where she's going.
Her other defining passion is mental health advocacy. She knows firsthand the stigma that surrounds mental and emotional struggles, especially within Asian communities, where such topics are often brushed aside. As someone living with anxiety and ADHD, she speaks from lived experience. She studied the brain in college and believes that taking care of your mind is just as important as taking care of your body. She tries to normalize that in her personal life and in the spaces she occupies.
Modeling came into the picture while she was at UCLA, where she studied Cognitive Science. Balancing a rising modeling career with rigorous coursework was intense, but she was determined not to let either passion go. She doubled down on her studies and graduated a year early to fully commit to modeling, all while holding onto the academic foundation she had built. Standing 5'10" with a slim build and natural curves, she brings a distinct presence to her work. Her measurements are 34-24-35 with a 34C bra size, and she has black hair and brown eyes. She is an American model of Asian ethnicity.
