Gitta Saxx

Her big break came in 1988 when she posed for Playboy, and in 1989 she was voted Playmate of the Year by readers. Photographer Hans Feurer hired her for a Kodak campaign in 1990, which won awards and made her internationally known. She went on to model for swimwear and lingerie brands, and became the face of cosmetics companies like Maria Galland, Lancaster, Marbert, Margret Astor, and Clarins. She appeared on covers of German magazines including Stern, Für Sie, Freundin, and Brigitte, and in ads for Douglas, C&A, and the Kuschelrock CD series, plus music videos by Die Toten Hosen and Tom Novy. In 2000, Playboy named her Playmate of the Century.

Saxx moved into acting with guest roles on shows like Unter uns and the film Mädchen Nr. 1. She started DJing in 2002 and founded SAXX BEATZ with Markus Emig, touring Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. They released a CD and a download single. She also wrote a lifestyle column for Energy Munich. On television, she competed in Dancing Stars in 2009, I'm a Star - Get Me Out of Here in 2011, and Promi Big Brother in 2021. She authored her biography, a beauty guide, and a vegan cookbook. As a photographer, she shot the 2015 ski instructor calendar and has hosted workshops on AIDA Cruises. She lives in Berlin.
