Gina Lynn

Gina Lynn, born Tanya Mercado on February 15, 1974 in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, is a former adult film actress, director, and model who retired from the industry in 2012. Raised in Jackson Township, New Jersey, she began her career as an exotic dancer on the Jersey Shore in her late teens before transitioning to nude modeling and then film. In 2001, she posed for the men's magazine Chéri, and in 2003 she made her adult film debut as a contract girl for Pleasure Productions. She also founded her own studio, Gina Lynn Productions, and worked as a director, building a catalog that reflected her creative control.

Lynn's mainstream appearances include the Eminem music video "Superman," a cameo in the film Analyze That, and a brief speaking role as a stripper in a 2004 episode of The Sopranos. In March 2012, Penthouse announced her as their Penthouse Pet of the Month for April 2012. She retired from porn that same year but continued to appear on webcams.

Lynn is of Puerto Rican and Italian descent, and she identifies as straight in her professional profile. She stands at 5'2" with a slim build, blonde hair, and blue eyes. She has been married twice: to fellow former porn star Travis Knight from 1999 to 2012, and to Stephen McGuire from 1996 to 1997. She currently resides in Reading, Pennsylvania, where she operates Gina Lynn Productions.
