Italian actress Gina Lollobrigida was born in Subiaco, Lazio, on July 4, 1927. She began her career in 1946, and over 51 years she became one of Italy's most recognizable film stars. In 1947, she placed third in the Miss Italy competition, which helped launch her into the spotlight. She worked with celebrated Italian directors including Alessandro Blasetti, Vittorio De Sica, and Mario Monicelli. With black hair and a slim build, she stood 5'5" tall. She was known for her natural curves and topless-only nude scenes. Lollobrigida passed away on January 16, 2023, at the age of 95.
