Filippa Hamilton

Filippa Hamilton, born on 3 December 1985 in Paris, is a French model who was raised in Biarritz. At age 15, she was discovered on the streets of Paris by photographer Marc Hispard, and by 16 she had landed her first major campaign with Ralph Lauren. She later became the face of Lauren's Romance fragrance, shot by Bruce Weber, and has been photographed by figures like Paolo Roversi, Mario Testino, and Terry Richardson. She has said she enjoys painting and spending time with friends, and she often travels to work with her mother.

Hamilton's career took a notable turn in 2009 when a Ralph Lauren ad, used only in Japan, was digitally altered to make her look impossibly thin, with a waist smaller than her head. The image spread widely and drew criticism, leading Ralph Lauren to apologize. Soon after, Hamilton announced she had been fired for being 'too fat,' claiming a letter said she didn't fit into the sample clothes. She spoke about this on NBC's Today show.

In her personal life, Hamilton is married to professional surfer Mikaël 'Miky' Picon, and they have a son, Kyan, born in October 2014. She is 5'9" with brown hair, green eyes, and a slim build, with measurements of 33–24–35. Her father is Michaël Palmstierna Hamilton, and her mother, Beatrice Hamilton, is a clothing and jewelry designer.
