Faye Tozer is a British actress, musician, and reality TV star, best known as one of the three female singers of the pop group Steps. She, along with Claire Richards and Lee Latchford-Evans, formed the group in 1997, and they went on to have 14 top 5 singles in the UK before splitting on Boxing Day 2001. They reformed in May 2011 and again in January 2017 for their 20th anniversary. Since then, the group has continued, releasing albums like Tears on the Dancefloor and What the Future Holds. Born Faye Louise Tozer on November 14, 1975, in Northampton, England, she began dancing at age six. She made her professional musical-theatre debut in 2004 in a national tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's one-woman musical Tell Me on a Sunday. During the Steps split, she duetted with Russell Watson on "Someone Like You," which charted at No. 10 in 2002, and she also guested on two songs for Plastic Cinema. Faye has been married to Michael Smith since December 5, 2009, and they have a son, Benjamin. She was previously married to Jasper Irn.
