Eva Pilgrim

Eva Pilgrim was born on Monday, 30th of August 1982, in Seoul, South Korea. Her mother is Korean and her father is American, and the family moved to the United States when she was young. Frequent moves marked her childhood, as both parents served in the US military. After high school, she earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and later studied at the University of South Carolina. Her first job was as a web producer at WIS-TV in Columbia, a role she held for two years. She then moved to Bluefield to join WVVA as a reporter and morning anchor. After another two years, she joined Fox Charlotte, where she spent three years reporting on stories including taxi drivers who refused disabled passengers and a woman who swindled military officers. Next came WXIN TV in Indianapolis, where she continued to develop her journalistic skills. In December 2012, she joined WPVI, an ABC affiliate in Philadelphia. Her work there caught the attention of ABC News, and she received an offer to join the network. In December 2015, she officially became a news correspondent for ABC, based in the New York City area. Since then, she has covered major stories such as the Northern California wildfires and the Charlottesville protests. She has appeared on shows including "Good Morning America," "ABC World News Tonight with David Muir," and "ABC News Nightline." Recently, she was named co-host of "Good Morning America."
