Biography
About Eva Anna Paula
Eva Anna Paula Braun, better known simply as Eva Braun, was a German photographer, model, and office assistant from Munich, Germany. She had blonde hair, blue eyes, and an average build, with natural breasts. Born on February 6, 1912, she is historically remembered as the longtime companion of Adolf Hitler and, for less than 40 hours, his wife.
Eva met Hitler in 1929 at age 17 while working at the Munich photography studio of Heinrich Hoffmann, Hitler's personal photographer. Their relationship developed privately; she lived a secluded life at his Berghof residence in the Bavarian Alps, where she enjoyed outdoor activities, photography, films, and parties. Her existence was kept secret from the German public during most of the Nazi regime. She attempted suicide twice, once in 1935 with sleeping pills, possibly to gain Hitler's attention.
In late April 1945, as Soviet forces closed in on Berlin, Eva joined Hitler in the Führerbunker. They married on April 29, 1945, and less than 40 hours later, on April 30, she died by suicide via cyanide poisoning at age 33, alongside Hitler, who shot himself. Their bodies were burned in the Reich Chancellery garden per his instructions. Her story remains a somber footnote in history, tied to one of the darkest chapters of the 20th century.
