Her content mainly features clothing hauls, daily vlogs, cosplay outfits, and makeup tutorials. Known for her emo style, she sports extraordinarily long, dark hair, gothic lace dresses, and bold, multi-colored makeup looks. She started streaming on Twitch in 2018, where she had over 400,000 followers as of 2022. In November 2018, she appeared in Niki DeMar's music video "Anthem for the Judged," and in 2020, she was nominated as a finalist for YouTuber of the Year at the Shorty Awards.

Cooney has faced significant public scrutiny regarding her weight and potential influence on eating disorders. In 2016, a Change.org petition to ban her YouTube channel went viral, and she denied having a problem at the time. In July 2019, she appeared in Shane Dawson's documentary "The Return of Eugenia Cooney," where she confirmed her eating disorder and detailed her recovery. The video received over 27 million views in a month. She resumed posting and was initially praised, but later faced renewed criticism amid apparent relapse concerns.
