About Esther Schweins
Esther Schweins is a German actress who rose to fame through her appearances on the RTL Samstag Nacht show. She won the Bayerischer Fernsehpreis in 1994 for her work on the show. She later voiced Princess Fiona in the German dubs of the Shrek franchise. In 2018, she played British suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst in the docudrama We are half the World (Die Hälfte der Welt gehört uns) about the women's suffrage movement.
Schweins survived the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake while on holiday with her mother in Sri Lanka. She has a daughter (born 2007) and a son (born 2008) with a farmer from Mallorca, Spain. She hasn't married him because she doesn't believe in marriage. She is 5'9" with a slim build, red hair, and blue eyes.
