About Erika Tham
Erika Tham was born in Singapore and spent her childhood moving across Asia, living in Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Taiwan, China and Thailand. That early life shaped her ability to adapt to different cultures, but her drive to perform never wavered. She was spotted during a performance of Oliver Twist at the PLA Opera House in Beijing, and the London Olympic committee handpicked her to play a key role in the 2008 Olympic Closing Ceremonies handover from China to England. She later attended a performing arts summer camp in New York for several summers, which convinced her to pursue acting professionally. Her second professional audition landed her the lead role of Corki on Nickelodeon's Make It Pop.
Erika is also known for Bonnie in the Disney Channel movie Kim Possible, appearances on FOX's Star, and a role on Nickelodeon's The Other Kingdom. She holds a 97% average in school and loves to learn. Outside of performing, she enjoys photography, digital arts, health and fitness including boxing, and finding new ways to exercise. She has a great love for fashion and enjoys visiting science, art and history museums. Environmental causes, particularly clean water and oceans, matter deeply to her.
