About Emily Browning
Emily Jane Browning began her career as a child actress in the 1998 television film The Echo of Thunder. The Melbourne-born Australian went on to appear in shows like High Flyers, Something in the Air, and Blue Heelers before her breakthrough role in the 2002 horror Ghost Ship. As a teenager, she won the Australian Film Institute International Award for Best Actress for playing Violet Baudelaire in Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events.
