Elvira Oeberg

Standing 5'9" with an athletic build, Elvira Oeberg is a Swedish biathlete who has been active since 2017. Born in Kiruna, Sweden, she began her career at the age of 18 and has since become a prominent figure in the sport. Elvira is the younger sister of Olympic champion Hanna Oberg, and she has carved out her own path to success.

Elvira's breakthrough came at the 2018 Biathlon Junior World Championships in Otepää, where she secured three gold medals in the youth category, winning the 10 km individual, the 3 × 6 km relay, and the 6 km sprint. She made her World Cup debut in Östersund on 1 December 2019, finishing twelfth in the sprint. At the 2022 Beijing Olympics, Elvira earned silver medals in both the sprint and the pursuit, cementing her status as a top competitor.
