About Elodie Yung
Elodie Yung is an actress, director, influencer, former lawyer, producer, and sportswoman with a background in mixed martial arts. Born in Paris, Ile-de-France, France, she is of French and Cambodian descent and grew up in Le Bourget, Seine-Saint-Denis. She practiced karate and earned a black belt, then studied law at the University of La Sorbonne before training in acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
Yung began her career in 2002 and has appeared in numerous productions. She is known for portraying Elektra in live-action adaptations, being the first non-American actress to do so. She also auditioned for the role of Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. On Instagram, she has amassed a following of 393k.
